Puppy is home!

Well we went and got our new puppy today.  So far so good.   She slept most of the way home and has been pretty good since we got home.   She is still a little unsure, but she is adjusting fast.   

She is a little snugler.   She seems to want nothing more then to snuggle up to someone.  Pictures coming soon...

Preperation and planning

We bring home our new puppy this Saturday. During this process, I have been reading tons of books and trying to prepare for my first dog as an adult. I am not sure if I am more or less prepared for all the reading, but I sure have a bunch of stuff that is new to me to try. The biggest new thing, is trying to use a clicker for clicker training.

Meeting the puppy parents and puppies

You probably all know where this is going, but lets just saying meeting puppies you don't expect to bring home is hard. The trip to the breeder ended up being meet the breeder, stock and our new puppy.
